B1 Task Lamp

B1 was the outcome of a group project in which myself and 16 others designed and manufactured 20 identical lamps. From this project I gained valuable skills in teamwork, leadership, and batch production methods. The lamps were made using beach and ash timber, aluminium and 3D printed components. The B1 lamps
also feature a custom made box, with graphics designed by several VCD students in our class. This product was a finalist for a Best award in 2021, and was the ECC NZ student design / craft award winner.
